Instant CNC quotes from your clients’ STEP files.
Clients drop a STEP file on your quote page and get an estimate in seconds, worked out from your machine rate, setups, materials and finishes. You get the file, every part measured, and a draft quote to confirm.
This is what your clients see.
A real estimate for a machined plate, worked out in your browser from sample shop rates. Change the material, finish, tolerance or quantity and the price follows, the way it will from yours.
- A range, not a promiseClients see a low–high estimate per part and in total, with prices for other quantities. You confirm the firm price.
- Their own file, in secondsClients upload a STEP file of a part or a whole assembly, or a DXF of flat parts with the thickness. Every part is measured and priced on its own.
- Nothing to installIt runs in the browser, on your branded quote link or embedded on your own website.
From STEP file to firm quote.
The estimate does the measuring and the arithmetic. You keep the judgment.
The client uploads a STEP file
On your quote page they drop in a STEP file, or a DXF of flat parts and the plate thickness, pick material, finish, tolerance, quantity and lead time for each part, and see the estimate change as they go.
You get the request
It arrives in your quote inbox, by email, and to Zapier, Slack or your CRM if you like, with their details, every part and its choices, the estimate, and their CAD file to download.
You send the firm price
Enter a firm unit price for each part and a note, and the reply email is drafted for you with the quote number, lines and total. Send it from your own email.
How the estimate is worked out.
Every number comes from the part’s geometry and your rate card. Nothing is a black box, and nothing is priced off someone else’s rates.
Stock from the part’s size
The bounding box plus an allowance, priced by weight from your material’s price per kilogram and density.
Time from material removed
Material removed divided by your cut rate for that material, plus surface area divided by your finishing rate, scaled for complexity and tolerance.
Setups spread over quantity
Minutes per setup and setups per part, shared across the quantity, so the price per part falls the way it does on your floor.
Finishes by area
Each finish has a price per square centimetre and a lot charge, and can be limited to the materials you offer it on.
Your markup and minimum
Markup, the smallest charge per line, and a lead-time factor for rush jobs, all set in your console.
The parts to look at twice
Parts too big for your machines are flagged for a manual quote. Bolts, nuts and washers start unticked, so nobody gets a price for machining hardware.
The server recalculates every estimate from your saved rates when the request comes in, so a client can’t send you an edited price. The estimate doesn’t plan toolpaths or fixtures; that’s why you confirm the firm price.
Built for shops that quote a lot of small jobs.
If most requests are a STEP file and a quantity, the first pass shouldn’t take a person.

Does it replace my estimator?
No. It does the first pass: measuring each part, pricing material and machining time from your rates, and showing the client a range. Your estimator reviews the request and sets the firm price.
Which files can clients upload?
STEP (.step or .stp) and IGES files up to 30 MB, of a single part or a whole assembly, and DXF drawings of flat parts with the thickness they enter. Each part is measured and priced on its own. Clients who try a SolidWorks or DWG file are told how to save it as STEP or DXF.
Who can see my clients’ CAD files?
Only you. Uploaded files are stored privately with the request and are never served to other visitors or shown in catalogs.
Can I use my own rates and materials?
Yes, that’s the point. Machine rate, setup minutes, setups per part, handling time, minimum charge, markup, and each material’s price, density, cut rate and finishing rate are yours to set, along with the finishes you offer.
Can I put it on my own website?
Yes. Send clients your branded quote link, or put the quote page on a page of your site with one line of HTML.
Send us your rate card and a part you’ve quoted. We’ll show you what the estimate says.
We’ll set it up with your own CAD so you can judge it on your products, not ours.
